Volunteer FAQ
What is the typical time commitment for a volunteer?
Most volunteer shifts are approximately 4 hours long. You can choose to sign up for a single morning or afternoon shift, or join us for multiple blocks throughout the day depending on your availability and interest.
Do I need any specialized training to participate?
No prior experience is necessary! We provide a brief orientation on the morning of the festival for all roles. Area leads will be on-site at all times to offer support and answer any technical or logistical questions you may have.
What are the perks of volunteering for Libros of Enchantment?
As a thanks for your help, all volunteers receive a complimentary registration and lunch on the day of the Book Fiesta. Additionally, you'll get free access to panel discussions and the chance to meet our speakers.
Is there a minimum age requirement to volunteer?
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. If you are under 18, we will require a signed parental consent form, which will be sent to you via email once your initial registration is processed.
